Success Story: Leonard F.

Mr. Leonard F. was admitted to Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation with deceased strength, history of COPD, and chronic venous insufficiency resulting in impaired skin integrity. He worked extensively with our physical and occupation therapist to improve his overall function and mobility. While Leonard was improving his physical strength, he also received wound care services. Over time he was able to regain his complete mobility and functional status. Leonard made significant improvement and all his goals were met for an independent discharge. Leonard successfully returned home with his family and is no longer struggling to perform all his daily routines! “Thanks to Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation for allowing me to get back to my old self again,” Leonard said. “I was completely bedridden with constant pain. Now I’m pain-free and strong again, all thanks to Twin Rivers!”
