Sandra (Kay) F. was admitted to Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation on February 23, 2017 after sustaining a tibia fracture from a fall. Upon admission she was non-weight bearing to allow healing time. Once Kay’s orthopedic doctor released her from non-weight bearing, she started receiving Physical Therapy to restore her to her prior level of functioning.

Since Kay started receiving therapy services, she has made tremendous progress and has went from being able to only walk short distances to now walking over 2100 feet with a walker! Kay is very determined to continue her progress and we are very proud of her success. Thank you, Kay, for allowing Twin Rivers to participate in your rehabilitation.
