Short-Term Therapy Success

Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehab Resident, Neal

When Neal came to our nursing home in May, his journey seemed uncertain. He was admitted after battling sepsis, leaving him extremely weak and completely dependent on others for his care. At that time, he required the use of a Hoyer lift for transfers and needed full assistance even with feeding. But with determination, hard work, and the support of our dedicated therapy and nursing teams, Neal began to make incredible progress. Day by day, he pushed himself, regaining his strength, mobility, and independence. Today, just a few short months later, his story has taken a remarkable turn. No longer dependent, Neal is now walking, performing his daily activities independently, and preparing for the best milestone of all- returning home!
